Extraordinary Designer Villa

Extraordinary Designer Villa in arguably the best location at Smith Ranch (this unit was the original model for the development) and features unobstructed views towards the pool, common garden and surrounding hillsides. The light-filled home was significantly remodeled with nearly every surface touched. There are brand new wide-plank European White Oak floors in the principal rooms and the bedrooms feature lush wool carpet. A halogen lighting system with Lutron controls was added throughout for next-level ambiance and state-of-the-art automation. The interior doors were replaced with solid core models and new designer hardware. There is high-end smooth wall finish throughout the home. A new heater with programmable thermostat and Air Conditioning were added in 2022, as was a new hot water circulation pump. The roof, venting and gutters were also replaced in 2022.

Enter through the magnificent solid walnut door into a spacious and grand living area. The 10’ high ceilings showcase the Foscarini dining pendants and tall custom wall unit in the living room. The elegant Ortal gas fireplace (with remote control) is a focal point of the high-level design. There are custom window coverings that operate at the touch of a button. This room opens through French doors to a sunny patio which can also be accessed through the primary suite.

The gourmet kitchen is a testament to high design. Custom contemporary cabinets feature abundant storage and there is a Thermador refrigerator, gas cooktop, microwave and oven as well as a Bosch dishwasher. Beyond the kitchen is another space currently being utilized as an office, but it’s also perfect as a breakfast or small family room. The garage is accessed here. Originally a two-car garage, an extensive storage system has been installed which keeps personal belongings organized and easily reached. The floor has been finished with epoxy for cleanliness and there are Tesla battery storage walls and a new attic access here.

The luxurious primary suite is roomy enough for a sitting area. A flat screen TV is able to be installed “wirelessly” (wires are hidden in a wall nook behind the TV) above a lovely Rimadesio cabinet. At the front of the Villa is the spacious guest room. The full bath adjacent has been fully remodeled with top-of-the-line fixtures. The full-size laundry room completes the space off the front hall.

Smith Ranch homes rest on 30 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds. The many resort-style community amenities include the Clubhouse for fine dining with full bar and lounge, the Grille Room for daily lunches, wellness and fitness centers, pool and hot tub. Services include housekeeping, valet service, regularly scheduled group and individual transportation, activities, entertainment and events. There is also an art studio, gardening center, bocce ball courts and putting green.
